With the help of a lovely work experience student we spent a few days preparing frames for upcoming commissions - Thank you Alice!
It's so satisfying to see a great stash of frames ready to work on, and justifies the quality skiving at the end of the work binge when it's time to down-tools and go to the Tate for culture and a cake break.
Grommets
When I first went to Tokyo a few years ago I found really neat little white grommets, so much nicer than the black ones I had here. For some reason I only bought about 40 of them, so I was delighted to find them still there when I returned to Akihabara (Electric Town) last autumn, in exactly the same place - this time I bought 400!
In Akihabara you can find every kind of tiny electrical mysterious component imaginable.
