Georgina from High Tea of Highgate contacted me recently to tell me that apparently her tea shop and my chandelier get a mention in Joanna Trollopes new novel 'The Other Family'.I haven't read it but it's now on my list and it's my chandeliers first appearance in contemporary literature as far as I'm aware - how exciting - maybe there'll be a film version!
Georgina's tea shop is on Highgate High Street serving her cakes and scones baked on the premises. She also has exhibitions there and sells all sorts of teatime-ish gifts, so if you're in that neck of the woods it's well worth a visit.
