The problem with trying to file metal smooth is that you still often have sharp bits or just create new ones in a different place. Maybe painting it over with a thick resin of sorts could seal the sharp bit out of harm....? But lately so many cans have pull-tab tops which leave a very sharp edge ringing the top of the can. Does anyone have an idea of how to get rid of this sharp edge?
